The Heidenbad waterfall

A refreshing walk !

When you say weekend, you say outing. And this time I'm taking you to discover a waterfall, the Heidenbad.

Unlike the Nideck waterfall, the car park of the discovery trail is very easy to access.

It should be noted that a large part of the path has been adapted to allow access for people with reduced mobility.

During your walk, you will come across two magnificent fountains dug directly into tree trunks.

A few hundred metres further on, we approach the goal, and the sound of the waterfall can be heard.

We turn our heads, and there it is, revealed between the branches of the trees that surround it.

This overview was very brief, but it is an invitation to progress. 150 steps await us a little further on.

The steps are clearly laid out, but the humidity makes them slippery.

The place is very soothing, shady, and quiet. It's the ideal place to get our sandwiches out of the bag.

Bellies full, we move forward with our ears. No doubt, the waterfall is not far away.

Once again, Mother Nature reminds us that we are very small in front of the elements.

We decided to retrace our steps in order to visit other waterfalls in the area (the Bockloch and St. Nicholas waterfalls).

However, it is possible to continue the walk, which this time will take you to the right side of the waterfall.

In short, this place needs to be known, because the spectacle is worth the diversions.
