Get your strength back!

Are you thirsty?

If you're thirsty, you'll find bars every 50 meters!

However, I'm not going to lie to you: some are more crowded than others. Depending on the DJ playing next door or the time of day, the crowds can quickly double. Although there are fast lanes for beer lovers (from Bud), you'll have to wait a few minutes before being served. In previous years, there was also a place to sample some twenty different local beers.

For those who don't necessarily want to drink alcohol, you'll easily find what you're looking for, with sodas, fruit juices, smooties or simply water. When you order, don't forget to give your recycling token or, failing that, bring an empty cup from the ground. That way, you won't have to pay an extra €2.

What if I just want to stay hydrated?

You have two options when it comes to water: either take bottled water, or use a dedicated water bottle. Take a soft water bottle with you, or even better, a camel bag. You'll find fresh water near the toilets, at dedicated water points.

One last thing: camping drinks stay at the campsite. This means that when you go through the festival gates, you'll have to drink bottoms up or get rid of your cans. Only empty containers are allowed on the premises. The more mischievous won't necessarily put just water in, but will prefer it to have a little aniseed flavour.

Rather nice, isn't it?

Prices range from €8 to €16 for meals. In all honesty... not all meals are created equal, and in my opinion they are very expensive. For example, croques monsieur cost 7.95€. Even if it's very good, it's expensive for two slices of bread with a bit of melted cheese. The BBQ Wraps (grilled chicken in wraps) cost 11.95€ and are hearty. But still, it's almost 12€...

In addition, the wasted lands (a sort of mini-village adjoining the festival) are home to a grocery store stocked with fruit.

If you're on a tight budget and camping, I can't advise you to take along dehydrated meals, cakes or preserves, which you can eat with friends at the campsite. However, it's best to choose food that doesn't attract ants. I had the bad experience of keeping a badly-wiped syrup bottle in my tent, and that was enough for these little creatures to make their way through my things...

Enjoy! :)
