Meet your favourite DJs!

Keep an eye on the networks

Before you get there, take a look at the social networks. A large number of DJs announce their meetups on their networks, and indicate the place and time of the meetings. If you follow their news in normal times, there's no chance you'll miss them when you're there.

Keep an eye on the scene

DJs don't teleport to the stages. They move around the festival site on foot and are generally accessible. Better still, some of them don't hesitate to mingle with the crowd and come straight to the front of the stages, with the audience. If you're lucky, you'll be able to share a beer with them.

To increase your chances of success, be clever: look at the way the stages are laid out and spot the entrances and exits. Keep an eye on your watch too, as time flies here. If you get too distracted, give yourself a reminder.

Be ready

Have you managed to bump into your favourite artist? Congratulations!

  • Want to take a photo with them? Get your phone ready. Launch the right application, in selfie mode, with enough light to see clearly.
  • Want an autograph? Make sure you have a stand and a suitable felt-tip pen.

After all that effort, it would be a shame to realise at the last minute that the cap you want to sign is black, and that the felt-tip pen you're holding is black too, wouldn't it? It may sound silly when you put it like that, but take my word for it that it will be very important when the time comes.

Finally, although DJs often take the time to chat with their fans, if we can save them some time, we might as well do it. Don't be the ball and chain that slows the whole band down and takes too much of the limelight!
