Psaromoura Beach

Date 14/05/2019

Visit Psaromoura beach and the surrounding area.

Among the places to see in Crete, there is the Psaromoura Beach, a famous place in the town of Agia Pelagia.

The beach is remote, and access is via a road that I will describe as... surprising: relatively narrow and winding.

We arrive at the end of the day. The deckchairs have been put away and we have the opportunity to be the only ones to enjoy this place.

See for yourself what this beach looks like from one of the cliffs that dominate the south.

Here, it is better not to get too close to the edge. The cliffs are high and the fall is never far away.

We stay on the heights, and we take the opportunity to go for a walk on one of the cliffs located on the north side of the beach this time.

And as we expected, the view is just as breathtaking.

In order to achieve our goal as tourists, we go down to the beach to get a closer look.

To conclude, the beauty of the place (for me) is more around this beach than on the beach itself.

What is interesting, however, is that it is secluded and well located. If you want to sunbathe in a quiet place, it is perfect.
